I actually first met Rebecca & Justin a couple years ago when they were in the wedding party for Lauren & Randy’s wedding — one I had the honor of photographing as well!
So when Rebecca reached out about booking me for their own wedding day, I couldn’t have been more excited.
There’s something so special about working with couples you’ve already shared a wedding day with. Walking into Rebecca & Justin’s wedding felt less like showing up to work, and more like being welcomed back into a room full of familiar faces.
It made every moment that much more meaningful, and so much more fun.
The Dreamiest Fall Wedding Details 🍁
Rebecca & Justin fully embraced the beauty of the season, and every detail reflected it.
From the warm, earthy color palette to the thoughtfully designed decor, everything blended seamlessly with the natural Fall foliage in Oklahoma that was at its absolute peak.
Some of my favorite details included:
• Stunning floral pieces in rich autumn tones
• A unique, hand-made seating chart
• And Rebecca’s veil — easily one of the most beautiful and unique I’ve ever photographed, with delicate Fall floral designs cascading along the bottom
It all felt intentional. Elevated. Effortless.
Like it was always meant to be exactly this way.
An Outdoor Lakeside Ceremony Rooted in Faith 🤍
Their outdoor wedding ceremony overlooking the lake was peaceful, intimate, and deeply meaningful.
Rebecca & Justin chose not to do a first look, which made that moment when she walked down the aisle even more powerful. The way they looked at each other… you could feel everything in it.
They exchanged vows and rings surrounded by their closest family and friends — and then took part in one of the most meaningful parts of their ceremony: the unity cord.
As they braided the three-strand cord together, symbolizing their relationship with each other and with God, it was a beautiful reflection of Ecclesiastes 4:9–12 — a reminder that a marriage centered on Him is not easily broken.
It wasn’t just a ceremony.
It was a covenant.
Golden Hour Portraits & Private Vows 🍂
After the ceremony, we stepped away for some quiet moments with just the two of them — and these ended up being some of my favorite parts of the entire day.
Surrounded by glowing golden light and the most vibrant Fall colors, Rebecca & Justin read personal, hand-written vows and promises to each other.
It was intimate. Emotional. Completely unfiltered. It was so perfect.
These are the moments I always encourage couples to make space for — because this is where the day slows down, and you actually get to feel it all.
And with the peak autumn colors as their backdrop, it made for some of the most breathtaking wedding portraits.
A Joy-Filled Reception Under the String Lights ✨
Their wedding reception kicked off in one of the most unique ways I’ve seen — Rebecca & Justin made it a point to take a photo with every single table.
Such a fun and intentional way to make sure they captured a memory with every guest who came to celebrate them!
From there, the night flowed into an evening full of incredible food, cake, laughter, and a packed dance floor.
Under glowing string lights, surrounded by their favorite people, they danced the night away — and the joy in that room was undeniable.
